Description A well-established, full-service law firm in Downtown San Diego is seeking a litigation assistant. This desk will focus on business litigation - in both state and federal court. This firm has an excellent reputation in the San Diego legal community, and the role will support 3 attorneys. Responsibilities: o e-filing in state and federal courts (using OneLegal) o maintaining and updating 2-3 attorney calendars o preparing exhibit and trial/hearing binders o typing and preparing pleadings including proofreading Perks of Company: · RHL has placed two legal assistants in the last year who are happy! · Many employees have strong tenure and stick around · Every other month or so, the firm sponsors lunches to celebrate milestones · Fancy Christmas party at a steakhouse downtown · Transportation allowance · This role boasts a 7.5 hour work day! Requirements + 3+ years of litigation experience in CA. + Knowledge of local rules and procedures for filing in both California and federal courts.
