**Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler** **Job Description** As a Forklift Operator and Material Handler, you will be responsible for using a forklift to move various materials, including odd-shaped loads, throughout the facility. You will need to handle materials such as I-beams and piping, ensuring proper load points and center of balance are maintained. **Responsibilities** + Operate an industrial forklift to transport materials within the facility. + Handle non-traditional materials including I-beams and piping. + Ensure accurate load points and center of balance when lifting materials. + Safely move materials that are longer than 50 feet. + Load and unload materials while being exposed to various weather conditions. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in forklift operation with experience in handling odd-shaped loads. + Knowledge of load points and center of balance. + Experience in moving materials longer than 50 feet in an industrial metal shop. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with metal fabrication and inventory picking. + Comfortable working in outdoor conditions. **Why Work Here?** Join a dedicated team that values safety, precision, and efficiency in material handling.
