A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a seasoned Estate Planning Attorney to join its Los Angeles office. This senior-level role requires extensive experience advising high net-worth clients on advanced estate planning and tax strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead advisor to a portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth clients with assets typically exceeding $20 million.
  
• Develop and implement estate planning strategies, including trusts, family entities, charitable structures, and sophisticated transfer planning.
  
• Provide comprehensive federal and California-specific tax guidance to clients and their advisors.
  
• Draft and review complex estate planning instruments while ensuring compliance with evolving laws and regulations.
  
• Build and sustain deep client relationships, offering proactive and strategic counsel.
  

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in California.
  
• At least 8 years of estate planning experience with a focus on high net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  
• Demonstrated expertise in federal estate and gift tax matters; knowledge of California tax implications is essential.
  
• Strong ability to work independently while handling highly sophisticated planning and client service.
