Now Hiring: CAD Designer - Civil Engineering Projects (ND)
Location Options: Dickinson, Williston, or Fargo, North Dakota
W3Global Client is seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and cross-functional teams to design and support a wide range of civil engineering projects -including large-scale land development, infrastructure, transportation, and municipal utilities.
We're looking for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, self-directed environment and is eager to grow into a larger role within our firm.
What You'll Do
Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on project requirements.
Collaborate with engineers and project team members to ensure design accuracy.
Prepare and review layouts, drawings, and blueprints.
Update and maintain design documentation and records.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide input during project meetings and contribute to design solutions.
Assist in troubleshooting design issues and recommending improvements.
What We're Looking For
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar CAD software.
4+ years of CAD design experience in civil engineering (or equivalent educational experience).
Strong understanding of design principles and engineering fundamentals.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and multitasking ability.
A growth mindset and eagerness to learn in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Physical Requirements
Extended periods of desk/computer work.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Comfort with physical activity such as squatting, bending, or lifting when setting up project activities.
